Aaron won a gold medal at the 2011 Brazil Open in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil in the men’s Singles and the Team event. However, one of his proudest achievements to date was winning a bronze medal in the face of strong competition at the 2011 British Open in the men's Team class 8.

Aaron produced other strong performances at the 2011 Romanian Open in Cluj-Napoca, winning bronze in the men’s Team event and a silver medal in the same event at the Czech Open in Ostrava, Czech Republic. He also won silver medals at the Copa Tango IX in Buenos Aires, Argentina, competing in both the men’s Singles class 8 and the men’s Team events class 8-9.

On his debut for ParalympicsGB at London 2012, Aaron competed in the preliminary stages of the men's class 8 Singles competition.

In the class 6-8 Team, he event he claimed the bronze medal alongside Will Bayley and Ross Wilson, following a decisive 3-0 victory over Germany in the bronze medal match.
