Dan Greaves
Dan was first introduced to the sport whilst at school by his PE teacher, who was also a hammer thrower, and he has now been competing for over 14 years.

Dan won Paralympic gold in 2000 and 2004 and secured bronze in Beijing in the F44 Discus. He was the first Paralympian selected to represent GB in non-disabled Athletics when he represented GB at junior level in 2001.
Amongst his career highlights is his gold medal-winning performance in the F44 Discus at the 2011 IPC Athletics World Championships in Christchurch, New Zealand where he set a World Record (at the time).
At London 2012, Dan recorded a season's best throw of 59.01m to take the silver medal, maintaining his record of winning a medal at every Paralympic Games in which he has competed.
Dan graduated with a Masters Degree in Sport Science and Business Managements from Loughborough University in 2007. His ambition is to coach to a high level once he has finished competing.
