Prior to a road traffic accident in 2000, Graham competed in non-disabled competition for 10 years and was club captain at Reading Swimming Club. He has now been competing in disabiity Swimming for 11 years and trains at Swansea HPC.

Graham’s greatest achievements are the two gold medals that he won in the 4x100m Freestyle Relay (34pts) at the Games in both Beijing and Athens.

At London 2012, Graham was just 0.18 seconds shy of his four year old British record as he put in a season's best performance of 25.28 second to finish 4th in his heat of the 50m Freestyle (S10). He also recorded a season's best time in the 100m Butterfly (S10).

Graham graduated from Portsmouth University in 1996 with a BA in Pharmacy. He also has a qualification in MRPharmS and works as a Locum Pharmacist
