Natalie placed just outside the medals at her first three Paralympic Games and produced her best performance in Athens, where she finished in 4th place.

Prior to London 2012, Natalie finished 4th in the women's 52kg event at the 2010 IPC Senior World Championships in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, At the 2011 IPC UK Open Powerlifting Championships in Cardiff, UK, she won gold in the women’s 48kg lift and was awarded the title of Best Female Lifter.
At London 2012, a bout of illness hampered Natalie's performance at her fourth Paralympic Games. After failing to complete her first two attempts at 88kg, she didn't attempt the third and final opportunity and later explained that she hadn't wanted to strain herself.

Natalie has been coached by Paralympic Powerlifting legend Jon Amos, and she has hinted that once she has finished competing she would also like to turn her attention to coaching.
