Rhiannon started Swimming lessons as a young child and made her Paralympic debut at the 2004 Athens Paralympic Games, aged 17.

She has been competing since she was eight years old and now trains with City of Manchester Aquatics.

On her Games debut, Rhiannon won two bronze medals in the 100m Butterfly (S13) and 400m Freestyle (S13).

Competing at her third Paralympic Games in London, Rhiannon set a British Record in the 200m Individual Medley (SM13) final, while in the 100m Freestyle (S13) she missed out on a medal by just 0.10 seconds to finish in 4th place.

Rhiannon has a Bachelors Degree in Theology and studied in Montreal, Canada.
