London will be Rob's first Paralympic Games. He has been a member of the GB squad since 2007.

Rob started playing Table Tennis in 2005 after a chance meeting with GB squad member Sara Head whilst he was in rehabilitation following his accident. His career has shown continuous progression and he has been a member of the GB squad since 2007.

Rob cites his career highlights as the gold medal he won at the 2011 British Open in the men’s Singles class 1 competition and the silver medal that he won at the 2011 European Championships in Split, Croatia, playing alongside his teammate Paul Davies in the men’s Team class 1.

On his Paralympic debut at London 2012, Paul competed in the preliminary rounds of competition in the men's Singles, class 1.

Rob has a foundation degree in sports coaching and enjoys a range of other sports such as Rugby and motorsport. He splits his time between his home town, and the team training sessions in Sheffield.
