Scott is one of the most experienced Paralympians on the British team, having competed at four Paralympic Games.

In 2011 Scott won a bronze medal in the men’s Singles class 5 and a gold medal in the men’s Team class 5 event at the 8th Slovenia Open in Lasko, Slovenia. He also won a bronze medal at the Lignano Master Open, Lignano, Italy, competing in the men’s Team class 5.

In 2010, Scott won bronze medals in both the men’s Singles class 5 and the men’s Team class 5 event at the French Open in Nantes, France. He won a gold medal in both events at the Derio-Bilbao International Para Table Tennis Open in Bilbao, Spain. He also won a gold medal in the Team event at the 7th Slovenia Open in Lasko, Slovenia and a silver medal at the Lignano Master Open in Lignano, Italy.

In 2009, Scott won a bronze medal at the Lignano Master Open in the Team event and a gold medal at the German Open, Stuttgart, Germany in the men’s Team class 5.

On his fourth Games appearance at London 2012, Scott competed in the preliminary stages of competition.
