on 21-09-2012 11:57

The Battle Back Phoenix t-shirt, launched by adidas to support the BPA and Help for Heroe's 'Front Line to Start Line' campaign, is still available to purchase in shops and online until October 3. Buy your t-shirt today to help injured servicemen and women progress in elite sport.

adidas, the Official Sportswear Provider for the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, launched the limited edition t-shirt (RRP £20) and baseball cap (RRP £9) in August. For every t-shirt and cap sold, £5 and £2 respectively will go directly to the ‘Front Line to Start Line’.

The London 2012 Paralympic Games saw a record number of six injured servicemen and women compete who were introduced to their sports via the Battle Back programme. The BPA works closely with H4H to support wounded servicemen and women who want to make the progression to elite sport, through initiatives such as Battle Back. Battle Back is an MOD initiative, supported by H4H, which designs programmes to promote confidence and independence and help accelerate physical, psychological and social recovery throughout the duration of recovery – inspiring the wounded injured and sick to focus on what they can do and not what they can’t.

At the launch, Nick Craggs of adidas said: “We are thrilled to be given the opportunity to contribute to this cause by supplying this limited edition range. The British Armed Forces played such a crucial role in the success of London 2012 and we are glad to be able to give something back.”

The limited edition range is 100% cotton and designed with the phoenix in a patriotic Union Jack print. It is still available to buy in men’s (small, medium, large and XL) and women’s (sizes 8-14) from the following outlets:
