Sporting events

There are several events taking place across the UK this year which you can take part in to support the BPA. The money you raise goes directly to supporting British Paralympic athletes, giving them the best possible chance of achieving success at Sochi, Rio and beyond.

With the profile of Paralympic sport higher than ever before as a result of the home Games, with your support we can work to ensure London 2012 is not a single moment in time but a catalyst for change and lasting improvement across the country’s sporting landscape. Donations will also help to ensure the BPA are able to support grassroots level sport and inspire more disabled people to get into sport.

You don’t need to be an experienced sportsperson to take part in these events, but some of them might need a little practice and training before you start. All events are open to disabled and non-disabled participants.

We’ve got t-shirts and running vests that you can wear if you choose to support the BPA. Wearing these will help to spread our message and inspire others to fundraise or get involved in sport. With the BPA on your t-shirt you can be assured that the Paralympic team is supporting you and spurring you on.

Some of the 2013 events are listed below, but be sure to keep checking back for new opportunities or contact fundraising@paralympics.org.uk  with your fundraising enquiry.
