Bio
Robyn’s journey into the sport began at Edinburgh Napier University. She found wheelchair basketball after contacting Scottish wheelchair basketball development officer Tina Gordon in 2013 and never looked back.
Within a year, she won two Scottish cups for both her parent club Lothian and her University earning her an invite onto the senior programme. She would then make her senior debut in 2015, where she helped the team win European bronze.
Her Paralympic debut would follow at Rio 2016, where ParalympicsGB women earned their best ever finish of fourth place.
Robyn made history in 2021 as she won the first ever Women’s Premier League with Loughborough Lightning before proudly representing Scotland in the 3x3 wheelchair basketball tournament at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
She was part of the team that reached the Quarter-Finals at Paris 2024 losing to Team USA 59-52.
Away from the court, she is a proud mother to daughter Alba with partner and teammate Laurie Williams. Away from sport and parenthood, Robyn loves getting stuck into DIY projects around the house which are usually centred around making their living space more accessible.
